Incoloy 800 Fasteners are nickel-chromium-iron alloy fasteners. Incoloy® alloy 800 is a widely used material of construction for equipment that must have high strength and resist carburization, oxidation, and other harmful effects of high-temperature exposure. (For high-temperature applications requiring optimum rupture and creep properties, Incoloy® alloys 800H and 800HT® are used). 

The chromium in the alloy imparts resistance to oxidation and corrosion. The high percentage of nickel maintains an austenitic structure so that the alloy is ductile. The presence of nickel content ensures superb resistance to both embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase and chloride stress corrosion cracking, resistance to scaling, etc.

These fasteners maintain their austenitic structure and remain stable after long-term exposure. These possess good resistance to aqueous, oxidizing, and reducing environments. These fasteners are mainly applicable in temperatures up to 1100 degrees. Furthermore, these demonstrate excellent resistance to general corrosion and offers superior stress rupture creep properties at elevated temperature.
